La Fiancée de Chen Shui est kidnappée le jour de son mariage par des sirènes de la mythologie chinoise. On Chen Shui's wedding night, his bride's kidnapped by jiaoren, people from Chinese mythology who produce pearls from tears. He sets sail to a small island in the South China Sea and finds out the true reason for mermen's violence for humans.
